Esmark Steel Group Announces David Brewer, John Dergentis Promotions

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Esmark Steel Group, a subsidiary of Esmark, Inc., announced today that David Brewer, vice president of operations has been promoted to executive vice president of business development, reporting to Jim Bouchard, chairman, Esmark, Inc. Brewer will be succeeded by John Dergentis, plant manager at Esmark’s Chicago Heights facility. Both promotions are effective December 1, 2021.

Brewer has more than 40 years of experience in steel service center operations and has held roles of increasing responsibility at Esmark.

Dergentis joined Esmark in 2019 after 30 years in management and operations. Previously he held roles of increasing responsibilities at Mauser USA, LLC, International Precision Components Corporation and GREIF.
