John F. Krupinski

John Krupinski is Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Esmark, Inc. In his capacity John is responsible for financial operations of the diversified holding company and all of its subsidiaries, as well as directing all treasury functions for the company.

John has been an integral member of Esmark’s management team since its formation and first acquisition in 2003. He has led the finance and accounting department through 10 acquisitions, a high-profile merger with a publicly traded company and a sale to a foreign company. John has been primarily responsible for managing critical corporate financial functions, including accounting, forecasting, cash management, reporting, planning and internal controls. He has consistently established and enhanced processes and systems which provide timely, meaningful, and accurate financial information.

Prior to joining Esmark Steel Group, John spent three years as the CFO leading the finance and accounting departments of four commonly owned metal manufacturing businesses with revenues in excess of $500 million.

He has 15 years of experience in public accounting and consulting in the areas of taxation, accounting and business valuation.

John graduated from Ball State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 1985, he became a Certified Public Accountant and in 1993 he received a Masters degree from DePaul University. He is currently a member of the Illinois CPA Society, the American Institute of CPA’s and the Turnaround Management Association.
