Jim Bouchard, CEO and founder of Esmark, Inc. and his family have helped the Quaker Valley community dramatically by donating to and supporting the area for several years.
Now Esmark is hosting a special event to honor the Bouchards.
On Sunday, June 26, Peter Frampton will be playing a free concert at Stage AE in Pittsburgh in honor of Jim Bouchard.
Doors open at 4 p.m. and the concert will begin at 5 p.m. with an opening performance by Bon Journey, a Bon Jovi and Journey tribute band.
Grammy Award-winning artist Peter Frampton is scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m., singing popular songs such as “Baby I Love Your Way” and “Show Me the Way.”
Additionally, there will be both pre- and post-concert events at the Edgeworth Club with transportation provided to take attendees to and from Stage AE.
Tickets for the event are available online. Proceeds from Sunday’s event will benefit QVRA, as well as the City of Champions for Haiti Relief Effort and the Imani Christian Academy.
The Bouchards have been extremely generous and supportive to organizations in Quaker Valley, including Heritage Valley Sewickley Hospital, Child Health Association, Quaker Valley Hockey Association and St. James Catholic Church.
Thanks in part to the Bouchards’ support of the Quaker Valley Recreation Association, just in time for summer, the Bouchard Family Park, a project started in late 2009 to provide baseball fields to the community, is also now available for teams and families to enjoy.
QVRA supports youth athletic programs for upwards of 1,000 children from 750 families who live or go to school in or around the Quaker Valley School District, according to the organization’s website.
Sunday will be a great evening in recognizing the Bouchards’ generosity to the community.
